A Supported Employment E-portfolio consists of all relevant information of an individual. Its objective is to help the person to get and maintain a paid job in the open labour market.
All elements of Supported Employment are included in the process. It starts with an intake interview where relevant information of the person is gathered. Based on the information and on the identification of skills, a list of competences and interest for certain jobs will be made. When a person is not clear about what job is interesting, an orientation in certain areas may be needed to find out what the possibilities are.
Additional training may be provided to acquire the necessary skills. Additional support may also be necessary, depending on the individual situation of the person. Training can take place in a training environment, at school and/ or on the jobsite. When a job becomes in sight, introduction in the workplace and further training on the job may be necessary. The practical skills the person acquires during the training will be recorded and will become part of the E-portfolio. .
The advantage of this is that the employer can see what the skills and competences of the person are, so that they can get a good insight. The recorded proof of skills is an important instrument for hiring persons with a disability. Especial for those persons with a disability who have no diplomas and no degrees.Furthermore, a video cv will be added where the person can present themself to an employer. It is possible that a new job must be designed for a person with a disability.
Medical Director Associazione Scuola Vivo Onlus
What we want to do in the project is to facilitate persons with a disability in a way that they can introduce themselves to an employer. Instead of using a written CV we want to make it possible that the person can introduce himself of herself and become more attractive for an employer, so that he can offer a job to this person. We are following the method of Supported employment combined with the E-port folio.
In Scuola Vivo we always test the professionals who are working with us, because we want to offer the best possible to our clients. Persons who are working with us have to improve the self-esteem of the client by using the capacity of the clients. We evaluate the performance of the professionals to be sure that they can work with us. I want to know exactly what they think about the relationship together with the persons with a disability. For example evaluating the job coach and others working as a team around the client.
I think we can reach the goal of offering the best what is possible to introduce a person with a disability who is looking for a job.
In this way using the E-port folio, it will become more attractive for an employer to have a direct connection with the person that would like to have a job.
Director PHH Academy, coordinator project Supported Employment E-port folio.
This project aims to create a platform for people with a distance to the labour market. A distance whatever disability they have. By doing so we make the world a little bit more equal for people. One of the used pieces of the project is that they will have no competition with people without a disability.
This project exists of several projects. One of them is the European E-profile and the platform. This profile is the basis for the matching of good job. On the other side of this platform employers upload their vacancies, vacancies including information needed to match on limitations or better to match on the possibilities of people of our target group.

The E-port folio gives new possibilities to present yourself in a new way to find a job in the labour market. It opens new doors which aren't open yet.
Through the video you can present yourself in a very authentic way. With the video you can add all the application forms. You can send these to some organizations from you want to get a practicum or a job. I think it is the best way to present yourself as you are.
At Atempo, Graz, we met Isis. She works as a job coach and supports participants throughout the entire process of activities. It starts with the participant's intake by collecting background information and identifying interests, skills and competencies. Based on the information gathered, a summary report of the participant's potential is written and shared with the supervising triad. The triad consists of the participant, job coach and trainer. Goals are formulated in an action plan.
Participation in training modules is an important part of the action plan. The focus is on orientation, especially for those who do not yet know what they want or can do and qualification. The person can gain new experience and identify new opportunities, but also acquire new knowledge and skills, for example, in the office or on the computer. The training also serves to find out the potential of the person. In the process it is important to make progress visible and to re-evaluate goals again and again. This is done in regular meetings in the triad.
